The presets are arranged in "genres", which are (somewhat arbitrarily) "Jazz", "Rock", "NPR", and "Classical". When you use ""← Preset →" to scroll through the presets, you do so in the currently selected genre. To change genre, use the "↓ Tuning ↑" control to scroll through the four genres. Optionally, plug a USB memory stick containing MP3 tracks into the USB A female jack on the front panel. To select a different AM Radio station, use the "← Preset →" control to scroll through the preset AM stations. You can also tune the AM radio by pressing "AM direct /3" and then entering a frequency directly using the buttons with labels (ending in) 0 to 9, followed by the "Enter" button to enter this frequency. If you mis-type or the radio misinterprets a key press, you can use the "" button to erase the incorrect digit(s). Finally, you can also tune the AM radio by using the "↑ Tuning ↓" control to shift the frequency up and down. You can store an AM station as a preset by pressing the "Memory / 6" button.
